She holds prestigious qualifications including FRCP and MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians, Edinburgh, and a Diplomate of National Board in Nephrology. Her extensive career includes pivotal roles at Chirayu Superspeciality Hospital in Mumbai, where she managed the Critical Care Nephrology Unit and Dialysis Unit. She was instrumental in establishing the Renal Transplant Unit at Bhakti Vedanta Hospital and has overseen more than 200 renal transplants. Her expertise extends to managing complex medical conditions such as acute renal failure, glomerulonephritis, and various emergencies in both nephrology and internal medicine.
The individual has significantly contributed to the development of nephrology units and dialysis centers across Mumbai. She is well-versed in advanced procedures including renal biopsy, dialysis catheterization, and plasmapheresis, and is actively involved in training medical professionals. Currently, she serves as a Consultant in Acute Medicine at Shrewsbury & Telford NHS Trust, UK. Throughout his career, he has managed acute cardiac and respiratory emergencies, pancreatitis, encephalopathies, and renal emergencies in ICU and wards. He is proficient in a wide range of ICU procedures and has been actively involved in teaching and training junior doctors and paramedical staff. As Chief of the Infection Control Committee and Antibiotic Policy Board at his hospital, he plays a crucial role in maintaining high standards of patient care and infection control. He is also an International Examiner for MRCP PACES and runs the “EASY PACES MRCP PACES” Academy.
Currently serving as a Consultant in Acute Medicine at Shrewsbury and Telford NHS Trust, previous roles include Consultant in Acute Medicine at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust, Consultant Intensive Care and Internal Medicine at Chirayu Super Speciality Hospital in Mumbai, and Consultant in Acute Medicine at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. Extensive experience encompasses managing critically ill patients, leading infection control audits, conducting clinical governance meetings, and overseeing clinical audits.
